What is the role?
LEA is seeking a Civil Engineer/Project Manager to join our esteemed team of Engineers and Senior Designers. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of high-quality projects, including Healthcare facilities, Hospitals, Educational and Industrial developments, as well as Residential/mixed-use subdivisions and site plans, collaborating with both public and private sector clients.

In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include: The qualifications you need:
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering with 5-8 years of experience in Civil/Land Development.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).
  • Strong knowledge of industry-relevant software (AutoCAD and Civil3D, InfoWorks, Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM).
  • Strong knowledge of land development engineering principles, design standards, and Jurisdictional Design Guidelines.
  • Strategic and process-oriented, prefers to operate in a fast and dynamic environment.
  • Team player and able to work independently with little oversight.
  • Ability to work effectively both individually and in a team environment, working towards common goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond, effectively multitask, and capable of handling changing priorities within a demanding deadline-orientated environment.
  • Self-motivation to continuously learn while completing assigned work tasks.
