We are pleased to announce that Nixon Chan, M.A.Sc., P.Eng., PTOE, PMP, has been promoted to the title of Vice President, Transportation Engineering.
Nixon joined LEA in 2015 as a Senior Project Manager in the Transportation Practice Area. Nixon had also worked for LEA as a University of Waterloo Co-op student before joining another firm after graduation.
Over the past 20 years, Nixon has had a distinguished career in the transportation planning sector. He has dedicated the past eight years at LEA in building upon our foothold in the land development industry, increasing our client base and developing a Project Management Pillar to improve service to our clients. His extensive reports and expert witness testimony in Ontario Municipal/Land Tribunal proceedings have clients seeking our services, knowing we can stand behind and defend our work under all circumstances. His ability to maintain long-term client relationships is a testament to his attention to detail and successful project delivery, which has resulted in him being one of LEA’s top revenue managers.
Nixon has also given back and contributed to our industry, having served on the Institute of Transportation Engineers Toronto Section Executive, including President. In addition, he is the Transportation Practice Area’s StriveHigh representative and is a member of the Women at LEA (WAL) committee.
