During his 30 year career with LEA, Dave has completed a wide range of multi-disciplinary projects, requiring such disciplines as traffic operations analysis, engineering design, project management, energy consumption and efficiency, economic feasibility studies and road management systems. Dave carried out a peer review of the transportation planning component for the City's Waterfront Plan and managed the transportation work associated with the Wilson Ave. Revitalization Study and the identification of alignments in the Highway 404 and Highway 7 corridors for LRT as part of the development of the Markham Centre. He has managed large-scale studies including one for the City of Toronto on the operational impacts of dismantling the east end of the Gardiner Expressway. He also played a major role in the Central Area Transportation Review in which he examined the need for additional infrastructure to meet the long term demand for travel into the Central Area of the City of Toronto. Dave Saunders is involved in the following service sectors:Parking & Servicing Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering Transit & Rail John C. Greenough, B.Sc., M.Eng., P.Eng. Vice President, Head of Transportation Systems Group telephone: (905) 470-0015 ext. 228 - email: jgreenough@LEA.ca John joined LEA in 2000 as Vice President of the Transportation Systems Group. He has been directly involved in the planning, design, operation and service delivery of complex transportation systems for various North American cities, spanning the last 20 years. Prior to joining LEA, and following a ten year career in consulting engineering, Mr. Greenough was employed in the transportation field of the public sector. He has a wealth of experience in areas including large-scale traffic control systems, traffic adaptive signal control systems, freeway traffic management systems, and transit vehicle signal priority system operations. John C. Greenough is involved in the following service sectors:Transportation Systems (ITS) Infrastrucutre Security Transit & Rail G.M. (Joe) Johnson, M.Sc., P.Eng. Vice President, Head of Municipal & Highways Group telephone: (905) 470-0015 ext. 232 - email: jjohnson@LEA.ca Mr. Johnson is a Professional Engineer with over 39 years experience, principally in civil & municipal engineering, highway design and transportation planning. He has been in consulting practice since 1975 and has held senior positions with LEA since the 1980. His experience in municipal engineering includes the design of infrastructure services for major corporate centres, large diameter transmission watermains, municipal roads, subdivision roads together with the design of stormwater drainage schemes, stormwater management plans and sanitary sewer distribution systems. G.M. (Joe) Johnson is involved in the following service sectors:Municipal Development Engineering Parking & Servicing Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering Terry Wallace, P.Eng. Vice President, Head of Transportation Engineering Group telephone: (905) 470-0015 ext. 234 - email: twallace@LEA.ca Terry has 20 years of experience in the field of traffic engineering and transportation planning, and has managed many traffic operation studies involving all classifications of roadways, from local streets to freeway interchanges. Terry has a balanced approach to managing projects in which there is a close relationship between traffic engineering and design. During his career, Terry has completed a wide range of multi-disciplinary projects, requiring such disciplines as transportation planning, traffic operations analysis, engineering design, and project management. Terry is familiar with the latest techniques in assessing traffic impacts, including projecting traffic volumes, roadway and intersection capacity analysis, collision analysis, weave/merge analysis, and queue analysis. He is very experienced in travel demand forecasting and the projection of future traffic volumes for the purpose of traffic analyses. Throughout his career, he has evaluated and designed operational traffic systems and geometric road and intersection improvements, which have been carried through from conception to construction. Terry Wallace is involved in the following service sectors: Andrew has over 16 years experience conducting transportation studies in the private and public sector. He has managed and produced traffic impact and parking studies in support of numerous residential/office/retail land use development applications in Ontario and has provided evidence at the Ontario Municipal Board. The parking studies that Andrew has managed typically include an inventory of existing on-street and off-street parking facilities, an assessment of the existing demand for parking and forecasts of future demand for parking for various types of land uses. Andrew has been responsible for managing environmental assessments including most recently the Achilles Road Extension Class Environmental Assessment for the Town of Ajax. As such, Andrew is intimately familiar with the public consultation process and the conduct of parking studies. Andrew has presented the results of these and other types of traffic studies at public meetings and before municipal councils. Andrew Brown is involved in the following service sectors: During his 15 year career, Richard has been responsible for the project coordination, structural design of engineering projects, and construction supervision of bridge designs and rehabilitations. He is experienced in detailed structural inspections of bridges and marine structures. His work in this area involved field assessment, evaluation of field results, assessment of residual life of existing structures, and life cycle analysis for rehabilitation in comparison to replacement alternatives. Richard has been involved in the detailed structural analysis and design of steel, reinforced concrete, prestressed and post-tensioned bridges. He has been responsible for analysis and design of structures, preparation of contract drawings and specifications, cost estimates for Value Engineering, and the control and contract administration during construction. He has prepared initial work plans and engineering project schedules for multi-phase engineering projects.
