We live in a world characterized by a continuing trend
towards urbanization. As populations increase so does the demand for mobility.
Traffic congestion, and all its implications, force us to seek creative
solutions to our transportation needs. The challenge is to create cities
with balanced transportation systems that are both environmentally and
