Bridge 606, Highway 409

Greater Toronto Airport Groundside Association (GTAGA) required services for a large steel box girder bridge as part of the highway expansion required for the new Toronto Airport terminal located on Highway 409. |

GO Transit Bus Terminal - Union Station

LEA were reatined by GO Transit to provide preliminary and detailed desing for a new bus terminal to replace the existing CP Express Building that extends between Bay and Yonge Streets south of Front Street adjacent to Union Station, Toronto. |

Highway 427/QEW/Sherway Gardens Interchange Modifications
•
As part of a public/private partnership for infrastructure improvements in Ontario, Canada Life Assurance and the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario entered into an agreement to share costs for improvements and modifications to the ramps at Highway 427/Frederick Gardiner Freeway/Queen Elizabeth Way/Brown’s Line Interchange on the west side of The City of Toronto. Improvements to the interchange include widening of the Gardiner, modifications to SB Brown’s Line, 4 new ramps and modifications to 3 others, and the construction of 5 bridges and 11 retaining walls. |

The Heartland Business Community Parking Garage was undertaken for Orlando Corporation in summer 1998 with construction work starting in November 1998. The garage will largely serve the office building at 55 Standish Court. |

Palace Place Condominium Tower

The original Phase I four-level underground garage at the Palace Place Condominium complex required reconfiguration and repairs for a variety of reasons.
The condominium complex was expanded in the late 80’s/early 90’s through construction of a second high rise building and second parking garage. This expansion necessitated functional retrofit of the existing parking garage. |

Rehabilitation and Widening of the Markham Road Bridge over CPR

In the Spring of 1993, Markham Road will be widened from four to six lanes between Sheppard Avenue and Steeles Avenue. In preparation, several of the bridges in this section of Markham Road are being rehabilitated and widened. |
