Multimodal Mobility and Safety

Comprehensive Creative Solutions for All Aspects of Multimodal Transportation with Safety Integrated by Design

With an award-winning team and extensive expertise across all scales of transportation planning and engineering. This section at LEA is committed to advancing a multimodal ecosystem approach that prioritizes safety, equity, and accessibility for all. Grounded in the principles of inclusive urbanism, ecological sustainability, and human well-being, our work emphasizes the design of connected, people-focused networks that reduce risk, enhance livability, create agonistic public spaces avoiding exclusions, and meet broader local community objectives. We specialize in infrastructure solutions that integrate transportation with land use, climate goals, energy needs and diversity, technological adaptation, social and political perspectives and public health—while ensuring meaningful engagement with residents and stakeholders throughout the process.

Our unique services differ from the “cookie-cutter” approach from typical industry offerings in many ways:

  • Human mobility pattern: We use cutting-edge data, automated travel diary, technology and smart solutions to give insights into hidden travel demand and patterns to create an ecosystem of mobility systems that reflects mobility culture of local areas
  • Inclusive Placemaking: We developed unique techniques to identify unused, abandoned and neglected traffic and other public spaces to reclaim them for better and equitable use of public spaces
  • Space reallocation: Our scientific approach, tested on the ground verification, provides vast knowledge to reallocate public spaces to a more equitable distribution towards each segment of demography in our society
  • Mobility energy planning: In an era of declining energy and resources, our solutions provide opportunity for alternative energy solutions, including electrification and low-carbon solutions to balance our needs and resources wisely.
  • Strategy and Policy development: Instead of a typical policy approach, our team has vast experience in integrating new concepts, ideas and perspectives into detail and effectively can bring new mobility, technology while avoiding platform of new exclusions.
  • Transportation Safety: Strategic safety and vision zero planes developing, including Road Safety Audits, In-Service Road Safety Review, system/program review for safety improvements
  • Transportation Forensic Engineering services include standard of care assessment, risk and liability perspectives, investigating all types of collisions, incidents and hazards in public spaces, including streets, highways, stations or terminals, transit systems, parking lots, parks, trails, sidewalk, pathways, bicycle facilities, and other transportation systems
