Over the summer, there has been significant progress on the construction of Kingston Secondary School, Limestone District School Board’s new intermediate and secondary school. The 171,000-square-foot education facility will be completed for the 2019-2020 school year and will accommodate 1,340 students. The building will feature 34 secondary classrooms, 9 intermediate classrooms and several special and multi-purpose spaces.

ZAS Architects designed the building and construction is being led by Bondfield Construction. LEA has proudly provided structural engineering support to help bring this integral new building to life.

Limestone District School board recently released an overview of the construction on Youtube, which gives a bird’s-eye view of the amazing progress so far. More information about the project can be found on the LDSB’s website.
