LEA Awarded Largest IPD Project in Ontario

LEA continues to build their reputation as a leading engineering firm for Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), with the award of structural engineering services for the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) – Conventional New Build project in Chalk River, ON. The 245,000ft2 project involves the design and construction of 3 new buildings at the CNL Campus, including an Office Building, a Support / Maintenance Facility and a Gatehouse / Logistics Facility. LEA is currently delivering close to $200M in IPD projects across Ontario.

The Principals at LEA have been involved in over 10 IPD building projects including the following that are well underway:

  • Barrie Simcoe Emergency Services Campus – $85.8M (Validated Target Cost) – structural engineering services – Under Construction (See more on our Projects Page)
  • Oakville Firehall No. 4 – $6.6M (Allowable Cost) – structural engineering, transportation planning & design, noise assessment services – Validation Stage
  • Oakville Firehall No. 8 – $7.1M (Allowable Cost) – structural engineering, transportation planning & design, noise assessment services – Validation Stage
