LEA Consulting Appoints New Vice Presidents

LEA Vice Presidents Stanley Hung and Stephen Simpson.

LEA is proud to announce the appointments of Stanley Hung and Stephen Simpson as Vice President’s (VP’s) of the Company. For nearly two years, Stanley and Stephen have been jointly managing LEA’s Transportation and Infrastructures Systems (TIS) Group. In addition to promoting the firm’s expertise in ITS, Security, Lighting, Traffic Signal and Electrical Systems, the two have been integral on many critical multi-disciplinary P3 projects and pursuits which have played an important role in our continued success.

Stanley Hung HeadshotStanley Hung is a Professional Engineer and holds a B.ASc. in Civil / Environmental Engineering from the University of Toronto. He first joined LEA in 2001, and after a short time with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, rejoined LEA in 2004. Stanley is responsible for all of the Company’s Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) projects, which include the planning, design and commissioning of projects such as the Rt. Honourable Herb Gray Parkway near the Detroit-Windsor border crossing, the new Champlain Bridge in Montreal, and the Waterloo LRT.

Stephen Simpson Headshot.Stephen Simpson is a Professional Engineer and holds a B.Eng. in Computer Systems Engineering from Carleton University. He joined LEA in 2004, having previously spent time as an analyst and consultant in the information technology and telecommunications industry. Stephen is responsible for the Company’s Infrastructure and Security Systems practice which includes planning, design, and project management services for broadband networks as well as infrastructure security systems for enterprise facilities, transit, and transportation/bridges. Stephen oversees many of LEA’s P3 initiatives and is also currently managing projects for York Region, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), and the Peel Regional Police (PRP).
