On Sunday April 22
nd 2017, enthusiastic LEA team members participated in the annual “Fork in the Road” race in Uxbridge, Ontario. The race offers a unique twist on the typical 5k – the runners faced a decision at several forks where if they chose correctly, they were rewarded with a beautiful 5k course. Runners who chose incorrectly got an extra hill or additional distance that could increase the total race length up to 8km!
Our runners proved they were up to the challenge, they battled the chilly spring weather and the twists and turns of the track and came out victorious – congratulations to all the participants! We would also like to give a special shout out to our very own Ryan Brown who didn’t let the forks slow him down as he placed first overall!
