LEA Welcomes Lorne Emery, C, Tech., PMP. as Western Ontario Regional Manager – Civil

In July 2022, LEA welcomed Lorne Emery as their Western Ontario Regional Manager.

Lorne has over 38 years of exL-Emery-(1).jpgperience working on multidisciplinary projects in municipal infrastructure development and environmental sectors throughout Ontario and North America. From project development to construction, his expertise encompasses the planning, design, and construction phases of projects, where Lorne has led  large multidisciplinary teams. Lorne has significant experience managing projects of various scale and scope including, new trunk sewers and watermains, sewer rehabilitation, trenchless installations of sewer & water supply, water and sewage pump stations, collector and arterial road work, Metrolinx/TTC projects, and numerous waterfront projects. Recently, Lorne has worked with the City of Windsor and the Municipality of Chatham Kent on underground infrastructure renewal and replacement projects. Lorne has also recently been involved in the City of Toronto’s Basement Flooding DDCA work, leading a team to design a 1200mm Dia. Gravity Sanitary tunnel as well as the City of Windsor Jefferson Pump Station Improvements Area-CSO separation and modelling project.
 
Lorne holds a diploma in Business Administration from McMaster University and is a practicing Certified Technician with OACETT.

Lorne will focus on enhancing LEA’s existing municipal service offering, expanding into new geographic areas, and securing more diverse projects. Another priority on Lorne’s list is to identify top talent to staff LEA’s new office in Windsor, providing opportunities for the LEA team to work on new and exciting projects that will  diversify their skillsets and advance their careers.
