The Victoria Road Recreation Centre celebrated its grand reopening on Saturday June 24th with a ceremony attended by current mayor of Guelph Cam Guthrie, and the former mayor Norm Jary, who helped get the original facility built 43 years ago.
LEA provided structural consulting engineering services for the project. The 9,000 ft2 addition and renovation to the centre included new multi-purposes spaces, entrances, structural elements to allow natural light into the facility, and an expansion to the swimming pool.
