Project Description
In 2024, LEA India won the competitive bidding by the Land Transport Authority, Government of Independent Samoa, to provide
Consultancy Services for Design, Procurement Assistance, & Construction Supervision of Improvements to Alafa’alava Road
in
Samoa
. This is a part of the World Bank-funded Samoa Aviation, Road and Investment Project (SARIP) which aims to improve the climate resilience and safety of Samoa’s roads and enable it to respond promptly and effectively in a crisis or emergency.
The project will be undertaken in two stages over 35 months. As part of Stage 1, our team will conduct field investigations and surveys; create preliminary and detailed designs; and provide procurement documentation and procurement assistance (11 months). In Stage 2, the team will be providing construction supervision and works contract(s) administration including defects liability period spanning across 24 months.
