Urban Design

Designing development sites and transportation corridors for active transportation encourages a healthy lifestyle and reduces carbon emissions. Cities around the world are undergoing transformations as healthy travel options are replacing the traditional automobile, associated parking structures, and roads. LEA has been operating at the forefront of this transformation, working with architects, planners, and urban designers around the globe to plan and design multi-modal pathways, corridors, and public spaces in accordance with “Complete Streets” guidelines. Active transportation is responsible for the significant decline in parking demand in global cities including, Toronto, Québec City, and London.
