Keeping our employees, clients, partners, and their families safe in response to COVID-19
In response to the alarming spread of COVID-19, LEA is taking serious precautions to protect our employees, our stakeholders, and our communities while maintaining our excellent client service and ensuring the continuity of our operations.
We are closely monitoring updates from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the health authorities of our operation’s respective countries to take necessary precautionary and preventive measures throughout our organization to ensure safety.
To ensure a healthy workplace and the well-being of our employees, stakeholders, and communities, we have immediately implemented the following safety measures:
Ensuring a Clean and Healthy Office
We are taking the cleanliness of our offices very seriously and have recently implemented enhanced cleaning measures including sanitation zones throughout our offices and additional cleaning services to wipe down frequently used areas such as desk surfaces, door handles, computers, and other individual tech equipment.
We are committed to adhering to the recommendations and regulations implemented by the governments and health organizations of each office’s respective country. At any of LEA’s locations where offices remain open, we have kept our employees updated on our expectations when it comes to social distancing and maintaining a healthy work environment.
Company-wide Travel Restrictions
LEA has issued a company-wide travel ban on all business-related travel. All employees who have travelled outside of their country of residence or have been in close contact with someone who has travelled in the last 2 weeks, have been mandated to self-isolate for a period of 14 days.
Self-Isolation & Social Distancing
A self-isolation period of 14 days has been mandated for any employees falling under any one of the following scenarios:
- Experiencing flu-like symptoms or have been in contact with someone with symptoms;
- Have travelled outside of their country of residence or have been in close contact with someone who has travelled in the last 2 weeks;
- Have been in close contact with a presumptive or confirmed case of COVID-19;
- Have been tested positive for COVID-19; or
- Any suspected case within an employee’s neighbourhood (India).
Remote Working and Project Delivery
At this time, we have strongly encouraged our employees to work from home, until further notice. We are accommodating all employees working from home by providing the proper technology and access to ensure seamless office to home working capabilities. We are working our hardest to ensure that a remote working environment will not compromise our project responsibilities, and that project deliverables and milestones are met.
Client and Internal Meetings
Until further notice, LEA will participate in both internal and external meetings, including contract negotiations, via Skype, teleconferences, or phone only. We will not host any guests in our offices for the time being.
For the protection of our employees, clients, and partners, LEA will also not be participating in industry events at this time, including business gatherings, internal and external social events, conferences, etc.
With the global impact and coverage of COVID-19 evolving every day, we are closely monitoring this pandemic to best support our employees, stakeholders, and the communities in which we work. We encourage everyone to do the same and take the necessary precautions to keep your offices and employees healthy and eliminate the spread of this virus.
