The LEA Group’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Terry Wallace has been appointed President of LEA Consulting Ltd. Effective April 1, 2017, Terry is taking over from Dave Saunders who has served as President for the last 12 years. Dave will continue in his role as the CEO of the LEA Group until September.
A Ryerson University graduate in Civil Engineering, Terry joined LEA Consulting Ltd. as an Engineer-in-Training in 1989. For more than 25 years Terry has been involved in a wide variety of transportation planning and engineering projects for both public and private sector clients throughout Ontario – involving transit, roads & highways, municipal, bridges, and land development. Terry is also a highly respected expert witness, providing testimony to the Ontario Municipal Board on many transportation/land use issues. Terry has been a Director of the Board of the LEA Group since 2003. In 2005 Terry was promoted to Vice-President of Transportation Engineering and together with Andrew Brown has been responsible for the management the Company’s Transportation Planning/Traffic Engineering Group.
LEA owes its success to the collective efforts of its management team and dedicated staff. Together, we are proud to have Terry as our new President, and we look forward to supporting him in his new role. We are confident in Terry’s leadership and his exemplary support for his fellow managers and colleagues. The now completed transition of the presidency has been underway for the past several months, to ensure a smooth changeover and an uninterrupted experience for our clients. LEA has been exceeding expectations on our client’s projects for over 60 years, and we look forward to both continuing our relationships, and building new ones, in the many years to come.
