On May 25, 2021, LEA welcomed Ben Hunter as their new Vice President of Business Development and Transit Lead, for their Canadian operations.
With nearly 20 years of experience in civil engineering consulting, Ben has played a pivotal role in developing strategic teams, leading the bid preparation and award of major transportation and transit contracts throughout his career. In his most recent role of Vice President of Transportation for Canada, Ben was responsible for promoting strategic business initiatives related to transportation infrastructure and supporting internal project execution and delivery capabilities on transportation infrastructure projects across Canada.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science, Civil Engineering, Structural – Honours from the University of Western Ontario.
In his new role, Ben will lead LEA’s multi-sector business development activities across Canada and oversee LEA’s transit projects throughout the project lifecycle.
