Chris Sidlar Appointed to Vice President, TransportationCHris.PNG

Chris Sidlar joined LEA in 2007 as a Transportation Planner in the Transportation Practice Area. For the past 15 years, Chris has been a significant contributor to the many projects that Transportation has rolled out. He has also been a significant factor in growing the Practice Area to the size it is today, and in developing the high-quality planners, engineers and technicians who are the backbone of the hundreds of projects that Transportation rolls out to its satisfied clients on an annual basis. Promoted to Co-Practice Lead of the Transportation Practice Area in 2021, Chris now becomes Vice President, Transportation and will continue to lead the Transportation Practice Area along with Ken Chan.


 


Kenneth (Ken) Chan Appointed to Senior Vice President, Transportation

Kenneth Chan joined LEA in 2003 in the Transportation Practice Area and worked his way through various positions to become the Practice Area Lead in 2017. Ken has provided the leadership to grow the Transportation Practice Area, which has nearly doubled in size since he took charge. He takes pride in developing and mentoring the employees and developing the strong relationships that Transportation has with its clients. Ken has also taken interest in working on international assignments and with our colleagues in India and contributes as a member of the LEA Board of Directors. Ken will now take on the title of Senior Vice President, Transportation.


 

Rick Baldasti Appointed to Senior Vice President, CivilRick.PNG

Rick Baldasti joined LEA in 1997 where he started as a civil engineer in our Highways and Municipal sectors. Rick’s leadership and management skills saw him quickly rise to become the Practice Lead of the Group in 2010. Rick has managed some of the firms’ largest infrastructure projects, including the VivaNext BRT segment along Highway 7 and the civil works for Pioneer Village Subway station. Rick continues to manage large infrastructure projects, build new service lines in the water and municipal sectors, and assist the social committee as he celebrates his 25th year with us. Rick will now take up the title Senior Vice President, Civil as he continues to lead our Civil Practice Area.
