Review of Study and Supervision of East Cost Trunk Road Project

Project Description

The Government of Mauritius has embarked in the implementation of a Road Decongestion programme which will involve the construction of a Ring Road as well as the Port Louis harbour bridge. The main objective in a first instance is to provide traffic relief on the Curepipe to Port Louis Corridor. In parallel to these projects, as a measure to provide better mobility within the main rural conurbations of Mauritius. The Government intends to implement the East West Connector which will be a major link between the East and West of the island. The RDA proposes to investigate the technical and financial feasibility of creating the said East Coast Trunk Road.

The Scope of Consultancy Services includes: Phase 1 - Review of Feasibility, Phase 2 - Detailed Engineering, Phase 3 - Supervision of Works.
